The Lark Ascending - a concert for choir and solo violin

The concert featured music inspired by birds, flight, folksong and the landscapes of the British Isles, with new works for choir and solo violin. A highlight was a performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending, arranged for choir and solo violin.

We were joined for the concert by the superb violinist, Lizzie French.
