Chantage is recording the first album dedicated exclusively to the choral music of Mårten Jansson, an emerging Swedish composer with a unique and beautiful style that deserves to be heard worldwide.
This is a substantial undertaking for our choir, and so we ran a crowdfunder campaign during October 2016, successfully raising over £5,000 to help make the project a reality. We also completed the first recording session for the CD in the Autumn, singing Jansson's Missa Popularis. Our second recording is scheduled for March 2017.
