After a stunning performance in the
Grand Final of the BBC Radio
3 Choir of the Year competition
(10th December 2006), Chantage walked away with both the
top prize and the prize for the audience's favourite.
We would also like

Our Name
Yes, we know it's French for blackmail, but we like the old
English: "singing for your supper" more!
CHANTAGE (a Fr. word from
chanter, to sing, slang for a criminal making an avowal under
examination), a demand for money backed by the threat of scandalous
revelations, the French equivalent of "blackmail".
